Q: Are there any additional costs aside from the monthly rent (addresses utilities charges)?
A: Cable, wireless internet and pest control are included in the rent. Our residents will only be charged for electricity. This total is sub-metered per apartment, and will be paid directly to us. Each student will be held accountable for their individual bill, and will not be penalized for their roommates not paying or paying after the due date.

Q: Why does the billing cycle begin on 8/1, when move-in is the 13th?
A: The rent is a lump sum, which is broken up into 12 equal installments, with the first payment due in August 4.
Q: How are payments made? Can I pay be mail, direct deposit or by credit card?
A: Payments can be made online, by mail or by dropping off a check to our leasing office. Our online service allows students to conveniently pay rent, email us from their personal Drexel Arms account and submit service requests. As parents, you're also able to set up a recurring payment online.
Q: When is rent due?
A: Rent is due on the 1st, and is late after the 5th. If rent is late, on the 5th, we can charge you an initial late fee of $150. there is also a $25 charge from each returned check plus above late charges until we receive acceptable payment.
Q: What do the fully furnished apartments include?
A: We're really excited about our furnishings package. Our furnishing option includes: a desk, dresser, wardrobe, full size bed, couch, love seat, coffee table, end table, dining table and chairs.
Q: Is there going to be a place for my student to study?
A: We at Drexel want to encourage our residents to strive for excellence. We’ve designed our community to provide students with close access to study areas, both for private and group sessions. These will be located near the lobby area.
Q: I’m interested in roommate matching. How do you match roommates?
A: We will get as much information as possible from the potential roommate, including their classification, what they’re looking for in a roommate, study habits, cleanliness habits, life-style habits, etc.
Q: What are the guidelines for decorating the apartment homes?
A: Students are allowed to decorate their walls using small nails that can be sealed and painted upon move-out. As with most apartments, it should maintain the original condition throughout their lease.
Q: What if my student does not get along with their roommate?
A: Each resident fills out the profile. The on-site staff will pair based on lifestyle and study habits, interests, hobbies, major to make the best match.
